Celebration of Life and Endowment for Dr. Zhao

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, and Friends:

On behalf of the College and the family, I appreciate your overwhelming support over the last several days. The outpour of your thoughts and heartfelt comments on this site has provided a source of strength for the family and friends.

The Celebration of Life event is scheduled for Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the FIU Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center . For questions, please contact Ms. Laura Osorno at 305-348-6875.

An account has been established at the FIU Foundation for The Fang Zhao Endowment. This endowment will help support scholarships and lecture series in civil engineering in her honor. We ask for your generous support to make this endowment a reality, and to keep Dr. Zhao’s memory alive.
