Sample of Engraved Brick:
History
In the last 30 years the FIU College of Engineering and Computing has become a beacon for education
and research in engineering and computer science. The Colleges stand-alone center, on
38 acres of property, is perfectly suited to develop our new ecofriendly Central Park. Your support
is critical to our success. Overlooking the Central Park “Brickpath” will be the newly remodeled
2005
FIU Solar Decathlon house, a student-built, solar-powered house that incorporates the latest in
sustainable construction. The Solar Decathlon house and the Central Park will be a center for
inspiring scholarly exchange and discussion on sustainable design, construction and renewable
energy. The Central Park will also be a gathering place for student campus activities as well as
alumni events.

Its such an amazing place to read books and study. I think that the brick path will look great and be a fantastic addition to the grounds.
Having a brick with your name on these grounds is truly amazing but contributing itself is key. Thank you for the opportunity.
FIU College of Engineering and Computing has taken a proactive stance on ecofriendly design. I guess the new brickpath is “paving” the way for the future
This is an awesome idea. I’d love to have my name on a brick!
Having the name on the brick is really a novel idea to raise the fund. Who wouldn’t want their name on it? Going to be a very special brick path.
Congratulations for the perfect idea, having name on a brick is really good and the main point is your contribution to education itself. Impressed!
I think the idea is fantactic. I want a brick too, as an engineer I´d love to contribute!
What a great idea. It’s interesting fund-raising ideas like this that really make a difference when it comes to raising money for building projects. I wish I had the money to purchase a brick!
I think engraved bricks are a wonderful way to raise money as those that are friends of an organization can contribute even if they aren’t wealthy.
I like that idea. Surely something that other universities should take you up on, I think. And why stop there? The same thing could be done with all kinds of public buildings, and the bricks would be one’s own personal contribution.
