Materials Science and Engineering is a dynamic field involved in the synthesis, structure, properties and performance of materials. There is an increasing demand for graduates in Materials Science and Engineering, with high technology industries leading the need for graduates. The academic and research efforts of the college in this field are supported by numerous research centers, institutes and labs; including the Motorola Nanofabrication research facility, the first of its kind in Florida.
