Scholarships, Fellowships, and Assistantships
The Department of Electrical Engineering and the Telecommunications and the Information Technology Institute (IT2) offer this graduate degree in response to the tremendous growth in demand for professionals who are trained in the theory and practical applications of telecommunications and networking. IT2's active alliances with major telecommunications concerns permit the involvement of industry in all phases of its activities including developing an educational plan, identifying and collaborating on potential research projects, and technology transfer.

The Master of Science (MS) degree program in Telecommunications & Networking is the first of its kind in Florida, and one of only a few throughout the U.S. This multidisciplinary program provides a perfect blend of engineering, computer science and business management education, necessary to advance in the professional field. The program offers two tracks:

The Systems and Networks Track focuses on technical aspects of the design of data netwroks, software, and hardware.

The Management and Policy track provides studies in telecommunications geared towards individuals involved with service providers, large user organizations and government regulators.
