| Industrial and systems engineers develop
and improve processes and systems that enhance
quality and productivity. Demand for industrial
engineers is expected to remain strong, driven
by industrial growth, restructuring of business
operations, and greater use of automation
in factories and offices. Industrial and
systems engineers may be found in settings
such as production, operations, logistics,
and quality management in a variety of manufacturing,
information technology and service industries. |

of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering is a degree program intended to prepare students
for the professional practice of Industrial Engineering
as well as for pursuing a doctoral degree. This
Master's degree is only available in a thesis program. |

offer a variety of fellowships, assistantships,
and scholarships to qualified domestic and international
students. The amounts of these awards vary depending

Degree
Requirements
The Master's program in Industrial and Systems
Engineering consists of at least 30 credit
hours of course work including 15 credits
of required courses, a Graduate seminar,
