Electric Power Engineering and Management

The EPEM program plans to develop managerial talents for a technological environment in the electrical energy industry. The program blends a mix of electrical engineering and management courses. The skills, concepts and techniques learned will be related to, but not dependent upon, knowledge of power engineering. The emphasis will be on management and organizational skills appropriate for the electrical energy industry.
 
Admission Requirements
This graduate certificate program is open to all students with a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, and other closely related fields of study from an accredited institution.
 
Program Requirements
To earn a Graduate Certificate in EPEM, the students must successfully complete the program’s core and elective courses with a minimum grade point average of 3.0, and have no grade lower than “C”. The EPEM curriculum consits of 18 credit hours – 6 courses. These courses cover functional areas of electrical power engineering, management and specialized technical and engineering functions.
