Bachelor of Science / Master of Science degree
programs provide academically talented students
an opportunity to complete a bachelor’s
and a master’s degree in a shorter period
of time. The BS/MS degrees allow 'double-counting'
of graduate courses toward both degrees, thus
reducing the time it would normally take to graduate
by a semester or more. In some cases, they may
also allow students to complete their BS degree
in one engineering discipline and their Masters
