Some 1,700 area students attended this year’s annual FIU Engineering Expo, sponsored by Miami-based AAR Landing Gear Services. Students from all over South Florida flocked to The Engineering Center of FIU’s College of Engineering and Computing for demonstrations and hands-on displays of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts and principles.
